Aniviza Inc. was founded in 2001 by Rick Goldberg, a practitioner of computer graphics and simulation. Rick has over 18 years of industrial experience, including 11 years as a software research and development engineer at Sun Microsystems, and holds a B.S. in Mathematical Sciences from UCSB.
Aniviza's flagship is Viskit, a visual programming editor for rapidly creating Discrete Event Simulations, including modules for Port and Harbor Security Analysts. Viskit makes simulation components based on Simkit, and is able to both serve DIS protocol packets to drive multi-participant 3D scenes, and is also able to create analytical experiments for large scale tactical super-computing, enabling the Force Protection Analyst to assemble complex scenarios by point and click interfaces, typically yielding 10's of thousands of lines of runnable java code in a single afternoon. Scalability is a key requirement, experiments have seen super-scalar performance on a server array, a day on the grid could be a year on a laptop. When answers can't wait, neither can we. |
